Escape to the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland for a relaxing and inspiring 5-day Eco Art Retreat in Montville.

Enjoy 4 nights’ accommodation at Kondalilla Eco Resort in Montville, with art tuition and all art materials included. You’ll also receive a high-quality watercolour eco art journal to take home. During the retreat, we’ll visit the beautiful studio at Sunshine Art School to learn and explore watercolours and other art materials made from natural ingredients.

You’ll also enjoy nature journaling, a picnic, rainforest walks and refreshing swims in the beautiful rainforest rivers — creating space to slow down, reconnect with nature and explore your creativity.

ABout the art experience

You’ll discover the beauty of creating art with natural and plant-based materials. Explore Lutea natural plant paints and learn how to create beautiful watercolour artworks inspired by the natural world. Explore the use of natural pigments from colour-rich plants such as cosmos flowers, madder root, and indigo.

You’ll experiment with texture, colour and expressive mark-making using natural materials and techniques, including salt effects, dip pens, sticks, natural walnut ink and beeswax crayons. Learn how these materials can create whimsical textures and special effects, bringing your artworks to life.

A non-refundable deposit of $200 AUD holds your place. Places are limited to keep our creative circle small and intimate.

Ticket sales close 1 Feb 2027 – if minimum numbers are not reached by this date, retreat will be cancelled and you will receive full deposit.

Remaining balance will be due by mid-February. Please wait until Retreat has been confirmed around 1 February to book flights or travel insurance.
