Yes! You can start classes anytime in the term, you don’t have to wait for the beginning of the term.

Our adult and teen classes are all run “studio style”, meaning you get to choose the medium and subject you would like to paint or draw, and we guide and support you through your own individual artistic journey. Rather than doing block classes where everyone uses the same materials and subject each week, students are free to focus on what they feel most passionate and inspired by — whether that be watercolour botanicals, oil painting, soft pastels, drawing and more.

We love the studio-style approach because it allows students to dedicate themselves to a medium they truly enjoy and gradually build confidence and mastery over the term. We believe it is so important that students are able to work on what genuinely excites and inspires them creatively.

For beginners who are unsure where to start, we go on an individual journey with each student, exploring different mediums and subjects to discover what feels most natural and enjoyable for them.

We are able to offer this personalised studio-style approach because our classes are small and intimate, with a maximum of 10 students, allowing the teacher to work closely with each individual.

In our adult and teen classes, you’ll often find students all working on completely different projects and mediums at the same time — such as flowers in soft pastels, landscapes in oils, or botanicals in watercolour. This is one of the things that makes our art school unique.

If you are unable to attend a class, you are welcome to do a make up class in another time slot that week if space is available. Please let us know which day and time you would like to do your make up class, so we can keep a spot open for you.

Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse the money for the class that has been missed. We do however offer a free class in the first week of school holidays for those (adults & teens) who may have missed class due to sickness or other reasons.

Yes, as we are a boutique Art School with only 10 spots in the class, we are unable to take classes off of your invoice due to extended holiday. In the first week of the school holiday we offer a free art class for those who may have missed class due to sickness/ or other reasons.

Yes, we do run the classes on public holidays.

You don’t need to bring any art supplies, as all art supples will be provided. You/ your child will need to wear old clothes/ apron incase of any mess. There will be tea for the adults.

We use a wide variety of eco-conscious and natural materials throughout the term, such as watercolour paints and pencils, pastel, charcoal, teas, beeswax crayons, clay, etc. Did you know that we use only the very best high quality art materials. 

The classes are held in a beautiful little shop in Montville Town  – 5/184 Main Street, Montville, QLD.
